Central Jakarta Environment Sub-dept. this year will make an eco-friendly garbage disposal site in Monas area. It is planned to be an educational tour.

Central Jakarta Environment Sub-dept. Head, Marsigit said, it is made in the Monas Futsal field, with a total land area of 800 square meters.

"Monas management provides a 800-square-meter land. The concept will be different with the existing locations in Kemayoran," he expressed, Friday (1/19).

According to him, the land is under the field. Thus it needs a good design. The total fund for the continued construction of waste processing in Kemayoran and Monas is around Rp 3 billion.

"In Monas, every building can't be more than one meter, so we make an underground building. Talk about the design and how to make odorless garbage, consultants who understand it," he expressed.

The locations will also be open to the public. Visitors can go in and learn how to sort out garbage, process garbage and make garbage as an economic value. "As well as an additional place of education in Monas," he uttered.
